How real do you want it?
Airsoft is a military simulation game involving, tactics, skill and using replica weapons firing 6mm plastic balls to "tag" your opposition
Fight on two completely different battlefields. Battle for control over a desert environment at Europes premier desert airsoft skirmish area "The Rock," or out-think, out-flank and out-fight your opponents at our woodland arena, "Blox."
This is closer to actual combat than paintball could ever get.

Dates - 28 -29 -30 August 2009,
Gaming starts 10.00 hrs Saturday 29th End-Ex 16.30 hrs Sunday 30th Gaming all day Saturday,Saturday evening games and all day Sunday. Live music entertainment and optional fancy dress and Hog Roast on Saturday night, On site camping, drinking water and toilets. Cost £60 for the weekend camping £5 As in previous years a percentage of the entrance money will be donated to a childrens charity this years charity is the 'NSPCC' A deposit of £20 is required by the end of June to secure your place either paid on site or cheque (Spec Ops Ltd) by post to

Spec
Ops Desert is
a airsoft skirmish site in Portland, Dorset. Our aim is to create a world in
which players can immerse themselves. All missions are linked together by a
common theme as players act out the role of either Government based
Special/Forces [D-Boys] or Contractors/Terrorists [Mercenaries] The 2 quarries
we use are very different and the nearest thing to an Afghanistan style
environment in the UK. The smallest quarry is around 5 acres & the main
quarry is approx 30 acres
We
have formed a new woodland site at Bloxworth, near Bere Regis in Dorset. It
will be a site open to everybody, with no ammo load out limits or restrictions
and standard UK site fps limits. It will all be on the 'Broadreach' section
which is 2500 acres and encompasses every type of woodland including rivers. We
will only use relatively small sections on a game day, varying the location as
and when we see fit. We have constructed a new entrance road, car park,
toilets, shelters and a covered shop/cooking facility, but most importantly we
have built bases. Some of these are a proper military type, ie dug-outs with
sandbag and cammo nets and trench systems.
There is a proper British 'Harbour' bunker system (bunkers over 2.3 meters deep
with firing ports through the sandbags) complete with command bunker; the
interlocking arc's of fire will make this very challenging! Others are
fortified natural bases and some are manmade structures.’ Foxholes' and sniper
hides can also be found in strategic locations.
Prices for both sites will be:
Walk on fee : £20
Rifle hire : £15
Clothing hire £5
BB's and grenades etc - snacks, drinks and hot lunches can all be purchased at
the, 'Spec Ops' shop. Tea and coffee provided free of charge.
